Kemp Alderman went 3-for-5 and hit a pair of solo homers for Peoria of the AFL on Thursday.
Alderman, a 2023 second-round pick, hit .242/.306/.391 while primarily splitting time between the Marlins’ two A-ball teams this year. He offers big-time power potential, but whether it’ll come with a sufficient OBP to make him a quality regular is still up in the air at this point.
