Dodgers RHP prospect Kendall Williams struck out six in three innings in Arizona Fall league action on Wednesday.
Williams threw three innings of scoreless ball while allowing just two baserunners. He needed just 37 pitches to record nine outs, which speaks to how often he was hammering the zone with his pitches while also striking out six. Williams has thrown 14.2 innings in the AFL, striking out 17, and waking five with a 4.30 ERA.

Dodgers RHP prospect Kendall Williams allowed one run in four innings in his Arizona Fall League start.
On Wednesday, Williams struck out three in his four innings of one-run ball. The 23-year-old went from High-A to Triple-A this year, registering a 3.73 ERA across 79 2/3 innings pitched. He struck out just 62 batters in those innings, but there are many people who believe his pure stuff should lead to more swing-and-miss. Given his ride to Triple-A, Williams could be a name to watch for the Dodgers next year.

Dodgers acquired RHP Kendall Williams from the Blue Jays in the Ross Stripling trade.
Williams has been officially announced as one of two players to be named later in the deal. The 20-year-old was a second-round pick last year and allowed two runs in 16 innings with a 19/7 K/BB ratio during his first stint in pro ball last year. He’s a real prospect, so the Dodgers did well here. Williams is expected to join the team’s 60-man player pool in the coming days.
