Crockett

Crockett did not pitch at any level of professional baseball in 2019 after getting released by the Athletics before the end of spring training. The 28-year-old southpaw registered a 3.74 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and 73/25 K/BB ratio in 74 2/3 major league innings with the Indians and Reds between 2014-2018.

Crockett, 27, pitched last year in the Cincinnati organization. He made 15 appearances for the Reds and posted a 5.79 ERA, and was designated for assignment shortly after. The left-hander will get a chance to compete for a spot in the Oakland bullpen, but he most likely will be organizational depth at Triple-A Nashville.

Crockett posted an ugly 14.73 ERA over 11 relief appearances with the Indians this season, but he has had better results in the minors. The 24-year-old will give Terry Francona another left-handed option out of his bullpen.

The Indians needed a fresh bullpen arm after Danny Salazar’s one-inning start Thursday. Shawn Armstrong has replaced Crockett in the ‘pen.

Crockett holds an ugly 14.73 over 11 relief appearances this season. Austin Adams has taken his spot in the Tribe’s bullpen.

Crockett has a 5.65 ERA and 1.54 WHIP in 24 appearances this season at the major league level. He’ll give the Tribe lefty relief depth for the stretch run.

Crockett had registered a dominant 1.85 ERA, 0.986 WHIP, and 28/8 K/BB ratio in 24 1/3 innings of relief this season at the Triple-A level. The 25-year-old lefty could prove to be a nice bullpen weapon for the Tribe.

The 25-year-old southpaw struggled in his brief time with the Indians, allowing two home runs in just 2/3 of an inning. He’ll continue to provide bullpen depth in the minor leagues.

Crockett has been knocked around in his brief time in the majors this season but boasts a 3.38 ERA and 49/11 K/BB ratio over 48 innings at Columbus. He’ll be used as a lefty specialist.

Crockett has been unscored upon in five appearances with the big club this season. He’ll give the Tribe another lefty relief option while Nick Hagadone (back) is out.
