    Mariners released OF Lolo Sanchez.
Sanchez only wound up spending a couple weeks with the Mariners at Double-A Arkansas before being released. The 25-year-old outfielder has yet to reach the majors after being a notable prospect a couple years ago with the Pirates.

Mariners signed OF Lolo Sanchez to a minor league contract.
Sanchez was released earlier this month by the Dodgers after struggling to a .524 OPS this season for Double-A Tulsa. The 25-year-old outfielder has yet to reach the majors and was a notable prospect for the Pirates a couple years ago. He’s merely extra organizational fodder at this stage of his development.

Dodgers signed OF Lolo Sanchez to a minor league contract.
Sanchez heads to Los Angeles after spending the last eight years in the Pirates’ minor league system. The 24-year-old outfielder has yet to reach the majors and hit .227/.332/.320 with five homers and six steals in 332 plate appearances this past season for Double-A Altoona.

Pirates re-signed OF Lolo Sanchez to a minor league contract.
Sanchez hit .231/.343/.330 with five homers and seven steals in 254 plate appearances over 66 games last year for Double-A Altoona. The 23-year-old outfielder will return as extra organizational depth.

Lolo Sanchez hit his second homer of the spring Wednesday off the Phillies’ Drew Storen.
Sanchez, who turns 21 in April, is 3-for-6 with a walk in limited action. He wasn’t ready for high-A at 19 last season, but he has some on-base ability and the speed to last in center field, making him a fairly interesting prospect.

Pirates OF prospect Lolo Sanchez went 3-for-5 on Tuesday for Low-A Greensboro.
All three hits for Sanchez were singles. The 20-year-old outfielder is now hitting .337 on the year, with a strong .952 OPS to go with it. Signed back in 2015 out of the Dominican Republic, Sanchez has plus speed, and he should get a chance to use it thanks to his line-drive stroke from the right side. He’s starting to tap into his average power, but asking for more than 15 homers in a year is likely asking too much. His plus defense should allow him to move quickly, and his strong arm would make him an asset in right field if he has to move off center. Sanchez may not be more than a fourth outfielder, but he also has a chance to be a top-of-the-order hitter someday.
