Rays acquired INF/OF Mac Horvath, RHP Jackson Baumiester and OF Matthew Etzel from the Rays for RHP Zach Eflin.
Horvath, 23, was considered the 10th best prospect in a stacked Orioles’ organization according to MLB Pipeline. He has spent the entire 2024 campaign at High-A Aberdeen where he has slashed .233/.328/.417 with nine homers, 41 RBI, 26 stolen bases (in 27 attempts) and a 71/37 K/BB ratio over 317 plate appearances in his 71 games.
