Matt Erickson, Trent Durrington, Chris Magruder, and Jon Nunnally are fighting for open bench spots with the Brewers.
Only Brady Clark, Keith Ginter, and Bill Hall have locked up reserve roles. Manager Ned Yost said of the others, “Those are going to be tough calls. They are all pretty good players who can do things to help you win.” Erickson was an interesting utility player at Triple-A last season, but none of this group should have any value.
