Brewers purchased the contract of outfielder Mel Stocker from Double-A Huntsville.
We hope Mel enjoys the next 30 days, as there’s a good chance it will be the only taste of the majors he ever receives. The 27-year-old hit just .255/.334/.360 in Double-A this year, but he is fast enough to serve as a pinch-runner.
