Giants acquired RHP Michael Stryffeler and C Andy Thomas from Mariners for LHP Matthew Boyd and C Curt Casali.
Stryffeler has put together a solid 2022 season at Double-A Arkansas, posting a 2.27 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 57/19 K/BB ratio across 35 2/3 innings (35 appearances). The 26-year-old righty could factor into the Giants’ relief mix down the road.
