Major League Baseball just announced the umpires for the All-Star Game. They are not, as far as I can tell from the news release, sponsored by anyone.
The ump lineup:
- Mike Winters: crew chief and home plate;
- Kerwin Danley: 1B;
- Marty Foster: 2B;
- Bill Welke: 3B
- Adrian Johnson and Dan Bellino: right and left field lines;
- Replay: Sam Holbrook
No one there who tends to get a lot of heat from the rabble (i.e. couldn’t find any recent examples of them being super controversial) so here’s hoping for a good clean game, fellas.
