Speedy outfielder Daniel Robertson, who made his debut for Texas this season at age 28, has been traded from the Rangers to the Angels for a player to be named later or cash consideration.
Robertson got into 70 games for the Rangers, hitting .271 with a .333 on-base percentage and .667 OPS. He lacks power, but Robertson batted .294 with a .371 on-base percentage in 278 games at Triple-A and has 25-steal speed.
He figures to get a look as a backup outfielder for the Angels.
