Coco Crisp rejoins A’s after two months on disabled list

coco crisp getty

Out since late May with a neck injury, veteran outfielder Coco Crisp is off the disabled list and back on the A’s active roster.

Crisp’s neck problems are chronic and he was terrible before being shut down, going 2-for-45 (.044) in 13 games. Toss in the fact that he’s 35 years old and expectations for his performance down the stretch should be minimal.

He’s being paid $11 million this season and is owed another $11 million in 2016.
