The Pirates announced on Thursday that outfielder Corey Dickerson has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a posterior right shoulder strain. Pitcher Jordan Lyles has been activated from the injured list.

Dickerson, 29, didn’t start Wednesday’s game against the Cardinals, but entered as a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning and grounded out. He’s batting .154 with a double, a home run, three walks, and two RBI on the season.

J.B. Shuck figures to see increased playing time with Dickerson on the mend.

Lyles, 28, will make his season debut in a start against the Reds on Thursday night in Pittsburgh.
