ESPN’s Danny Knobler reports that Mets first baseman Lucas Duda was hospitalized on Friday with a stomach ailment that caused him to be dehydrated. According to Mets manager Terry Collins, Duda needed an IV to take in fluids. As a result, Josh Satin will start at first base against Phillies right-handed starter Roberto Hernandez.

Rubin adds that Collins wasn’t sure if Duda would need to remain in the hospital, and said that it was possible that Duda could rejoin the team and serve as a pinch-hitter during the game against the Phillies.

[Update: 7:25 PM] Lucas Duda is back the dugout, per ESPN’s Adam Rubin. He should be available to pinch-hit during the game.
