Matt Harvey was struck in the triceps by a Dexter Fowler line drive in Game 1 of the NLCS, but the right-hander made it through a side session Tuesday without issue and Mets manager Terry Collins told reporters after the workout that it “looks like he’ll be ready for Game 5" -- if a Game 5 is necessary.

That quote comes from Anthony DiComo, the Mets beat writer for MLB.com.

New York currently leads 2-0 in the best-of-seven National League Championship Series with the action shifting to Wrigley Field on Tuesday night for Game 3.

Harvey pitched into the eighth inning of Game 1 on Saturday at Citi Field, striking out nine and limiting the visiting Cubs to two runs on four hits. The 26-year-old has a 2.84 ERA in 12 2/3 total frames this postseason after registering a 2.71 ERA across 189 1/3 innings during the regular season.
