The Athletic’s Jake Kaplan reports that the Astros won’t be furloughing or laying off any of their employees through the end of October. Furthermore, the only employees facing pay cuts will be those making $100,000 or more, with those earning higher salaries receiving higher cuts.

Several weeks ago, the Astros also committed to paying their minor leaguers their $400 per week stipend through the end of August.

We have been hard on the Astros here in recent years, deservedly so. But it’s only fair we note when they do right by their employees. Kudos, Astros.
