There was a touching tribute by the Red Sox on their “rolling rally” through the streets of Boston this morning, as the World Champions made a special stop at the Boston Marathon finish line, the site of the bombings from this past April.
As part of the team’s tribute, Jonny Gomes placed the World Series trophy draped with a “BOSTON STRONG 617" jersey on the finish line. Here’s a look at the scene:
