Opening Day was supposed to feature all 30 teams in action, but Mother Nature has overruled Major League Baseball on that score. In addition to the Nationals-Reds game in Cincinnati being postponed, the Pirates-Tigers tilt in Detroit has been washed out as well.
The game has been rescheduled for tomorrow, which was an off day, precisely in case today’s game was banged. First pitch set for 1:10 PM with, presumably, Ivan Nova facing off against Jordan Zimmermann, as was expected today.
