TMZ Sports reports that thieves broke into Yasiel Puig’s home in Los Angeles and made off with over $500,000 worth of watches and jewelry. Part of the haul included three Rolexes.
Puig is in Arizona for spring training now and a relative is housesitting for him. They were out of the house when the theft occurred.
Celebrity thefts are not a new phenomenon in Los Angeles and, as TMZ notes, there has been a spate of jewel heists from stars lately, with Alanis Morissette, Derek Fisher and Cesar Millan all being victimized in 2017.
