Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports that three Rangers minor leaguers are showing symptoms consistent with coronavirus (COVID-19) and are being presumed positive. As a result, all three have self-quarantined.
Two of the three players have connections to people who have tested positive for COVID-19. None of the players has undergone a test, however, as they are still scarce in the U.S.
The U.S. surpassed 300,000 total COVID-19 cases several days ago and will soon reach 400,000. Eventually, baseball organizations with players or other employees that have tested positive or are presumed positive will be commonplace.
