The @WhiteSox reinstate RHP Matt Albers from DL; designate INF Conor Gillaspie for assignment.

Gillaspie served as Chicago’s starting third baseman for much of the first half, but he entered play Sunday with a brutal .237/.276/.364 batting line. Gillaspie hit .282/.336/.416 in 130 games last season.
He is only 28 years old, so there will probably be some trade interest out there from opposing teams.
Tyler Saladino has taken over at the hot corner for the White Sox. Gordon Beckham is in the mix too.
