Marlins shortstop prospect Osiris Johnson will be sidelined for 5-6 months following surgery to repair a tibial stress fracture in his right leg.
Johnson was the 53rd overall pick in last year’s Draft. The 18-year-old is ranked by MLB.com as the team’s No. 12 prospect.
