Orioles acquired RHP Raimon Gomez, RHP Chandler Marsh, and RHP Anthony Nunez from the Mets in exchange for OF Cedric Mullins.
Gomez turned heads with a fastball that hit 104 mph this season, but he’s currently pitching to a 6.95 ERA in 22 innings at High-A as a 23-year-old. Perhaps Baltimore can get more production out of that live arm. It’s certainly worth a gamble.
