DeVito is the player to be named later to complete a trade for utility specialist Mark Mathias. The 24-year-old righty finished last year with a bloated 5.40 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 90/44 K/BB ratio across 70 innings (35 appearances, six starts) for High-A Greensboro.

DeVito, 22, was an eighth round selection of the Braves from the 2019 draft. He has made five starts at High-A Rome this season, registering a 2.66 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 27/7 K/BB ratio over 20 1/3 innings.
