Rockies signed RHP Ryan Miller to a minor league contract.
Miller’s only major league experience came with the Angels in 2024, when he posted a 4.15 ERA in 13 innings out of the pen. He spent last season with the Tigers’ Triple-A club, amassing a 4.32 ERA in 50 innings. Given that the Rockies tend to run through a bunch of pitchers, there’s a good chance he’ll see some additional major league time this year.

Tigers signed RHP Ryan Miller to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Miller will compete in Tigers camp for a spot in the club’s season-opening bullpen after being released last month by the rebuilding Angels. The 28-year-old righty recorded a respectable 4.15 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 11/8 K/BB ratio across 13 innings (13 appearances) last year in his big-league debut. He’ll bolster Detroit’s organizational relief depth heading into next year.

    Angels released RHP Ryan Miller.
Miller went unclaimed on waivers after being designated for assignment last week by the Angels to free up a roster spot for veteran starter Kyle Hendricks. The 28-year-old righty posted a serviceable 4.15 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 11/8 K/BB ratio across 13 innings (13 appearances) last year in his first taste of the majors.

Angels designated RHP Ryan Miller for assignment.
The Halos needed to free up a spot on their 40-man roster for Kyle Hendricks and unfortunately Miller was the odd-man out this time around. The 28-year-old right-hander made his big-league debut with the Angels in 2024, registering a 4.15 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and an 11/8 K/BB ratio over his 13 frames. There’s a decent chance that he’ll pass through waivers unclaimed and continue to function as extra bullpen depth for the Angels at the Triple-A level.

Angels selected the contract of RHP Ryan Miller from Triple-A Salt Lake.
Miller, 28, will get a chance to make his MLB debut if/when he gets into a game for the Angels. The right-hander pitched well in the PCL with a 2.45 ERA in 34 appearances. He takes the roster spot off Matt Moore, with Moore placed on the 15-day injured list.
