Narron

Narron, who made a start for the Rangers back in July, has a chance to make it as a reliever. The Brewers, however, might not have room to keep him on their 40-man roster all winter.

Narron, who was 14-2 with a 3.72 ERA in the minors this season, will likely catch on with another team if he clears waivers this week.

He’s day-to-day. Narron is a long shot to win a spot in Milwaukee’s bullpen.

Narron was limited by elbow tightness at the start of camp and had allowed five runs in one inning over two appearances. He could be a bullpen candidate later in the season. Cruz, acquired in the Keith Ginter trade with Oakland, was 3-for-20 with a homer and an 8/1 K/BB ratio.

Narron struggled last night in his major league debut. He shouldn’t return anytime soon.

Narron is starting tonight against the Athletics. The Rangers could give him a chance to stay in the rotation, but he doesn’t project as a starter for the long-term.

Narron might return to the minors tomorrow. The Rangers have to acquire a starter if they’re serious about staying on top in the AL West.
