Boyd, a 2000 first-round pick, has made the switch from second base to center field this season. The 21-year-old hit .257 with 5 HR, 35 RBI, 70/54 K/BB and 28 SB in 416 AB for Palm Beach. He currently projects as a reserve in the majors, but there is time for that to change.
