Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that the Giants will recall right-hander Steve Edlefsen from Triple-A Fresno after Friday’s game.

Nothing official from the team yet, but he’ll likely take the roster spot of Eric Hacker, who is making a spot start Friday. Edlefson has a 1.42 ERA and 5/4 K/BB ratio over 6 1/3 innings at the Triple-A level this year.
