    Braves released infielder Stubby Clapp.
Clapp, who spent part of 2001 in the majors with the Cardinals, hit .217 with a 683 OPS for Triple-A Richmond last season. He spent last week helping Team Canada get to the Olympics and he will probably take part in the Athens games next summer.

Blue Jays acquired infielder Stubby Clapp from the Indians for a player to be named or cash considerations and assigned him to Doule-A New Hampshire.
The Blue Jays needed some extra infield depth in the minors, so they brought home a Canadian. Clapp is expected to play for Team Canada in the Olympics this summer.
