Marlins invited pitchers Trevor Hutchinson, Toby Borland, Bryce Florie, David Manning, Marty McLeary, Mike Nannini, Scott Sanders, Delvin James, Aaron Small, Matt Perisho and Cedrick Bowers to spring training.
Also invited were catchers Ryan Jorgensen, Matt Treanor and Dennis Anderson; infielders Damion Easley, Lenny Harris, Felipe Crespo, Derek Wathan and Jason Wood; and outfielders Gerald Williams, Eric Reed and Ryan Christenson. The players here with the best chances of making the Marlins are probably Harris, Easley, Christenson and Williams. The pitchers are all longshots, although Hutchinson could be in the team’s rotation before the end of the year.
