Giants acquired RHP Trystan Vrieling, C Jesus Rodriguez, INF Parks Harber and LHP Carlos De La Rosa from the Yankees for RHP Camilo Doval.
Vrieling, 24, was the Yankees’ third round pick from the 2022 draft class and was considered a fringe top-20 prospect in the Bombers’ organization. He has spent the majority of the 2025 season at Double-A Somerset where he has compiled a 4.50 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and a 42/18 K/BB ratio over 46 innings in 12 appearances (10 starts). He’ll add organizational rotation depth for the Giants.
