Denny Hamlin fastest in final Xfinity Series practice at Darlington

Denny Hamlin was fastest in final practice for the Xfinity Series on Saturday morning at Darlington Raceway with a lap of 172.644 mph.

The 55-minute session was the only on-track time the series will get at Darlington before the green flag falls in the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 at 3:45 p.m.

Hamlin was followed by Kyle Larson (172.179 mph), Elliott Sadler (170.898 mph), Erik Jones (170.425 mph), and Ty Dillon (169.356 mph). The rest of the top 10 were Daniel Suarez (168.984 mph), Ryan Blaney (168.428 mph), Ryan Reed (168.232 mph), Justin Allgaier (168.089 mph), and JJ Yeley (167.796 mph).

Hamlin is the defending race winner.
