Jamie McMurray provides sneak peek at future NASCAR technology in cars


Jamie McMurray provided a look Monday at what the dash for NASCAR Sprint Cup cars could look like as early as next season.

McMurray tweeted photos of the electronic dash he was using during a Goodyear tire test at Kentucky Speedway.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Rule Book states that teams can begin using a digital display for any events after August 5. Teams must use a digital display dash beginning next season. The McLaren PCU-500N Digital Dash Display will be the only digital dash display permitted for competition.
