WATCH: Tony Stewart gets out of Sprint Cup car for last time, celebrates with Johnson

Tony Stewart climbs out of the No. 14 car for the last time and talks about life as a retired Sprint Cup driver and the humbling goodbye at the start of the race.

Tony Stewart’s final Sprint Cup start ended with the three-time champion in 22nd-place, two laps down.

But “Smoke” was all smiles after exiting his No. 14 Chevrolet for the last time, saying the highlight of his day was a long line of team members who lined up to high hive Stewart as he left pit road.

Stewart then joined Jimmie Johnson on the front stretch to celebrate his record-tying seventh Sprint Cup title. Johnson then gave Stewart the helmet he had worn all season commemorating his quest for the title.
