Monday night marked the debut of classic NASCAR races on NBCSN and it wasn’t a good night for Bill Elliott, who lost on the final lap of the 2003 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Don’t worry, tonight will be better for Elliott with the airing of the 2002 Brickyard 400 - a race he won - followed by the 2005 Brickyard 400, won by Tony Stewart.
NBCSN is showing memorable Sprint Cup races that aired on NBC from 2001-2004 in anticipation of NASCAR’s return to NBC this weekend at Daytona International Speedway.
Races will be shown from 7-9 p.m. ET and 9-11 p.m. ET. It’s part of NBCSN’s NASCAR block. Each night from 5 p.m. to midnight ET, NBCSN will air various NASCAR programming, including NASCAR America.
