Windows 10 to sponsor Aug. 2 Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway

Microsoft

Pocono Raceway has announced its second Sprint Cup race of 2015 will be sponsored by Windows 10, the computer software that will be released on July 29.

The Windows 10 400 will be ran on Aug. 2 at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

The announcement comes after Microsoft, the official technology partner of NASCAR and company that produces Windows, sponsored Dale Earnhardt Jr’s No. 88 Chevrolet in last month’s race at Sonoma Raceway.

“Today is an exciting day for us,” said Brandon Igdalsky, Pocono Raceway President/CEO in a press release. “Microsoft has been on the cutting edge of technology and innovation since its founding in 1975. The launch of their Windows 10 platform is something Pocono Raceway is extremely proud to promote during our final NASCAR race weekend of 2015.”

Microsoft will once again sponsor Earnhardt at Pocono, where he swept both races in 2014.
