Alex Sarr (toe) and Tristan Vukčević (back) are questionable for Friday’s game against the Warriors.
Sarr has missed Washington’s last two games, while Vukčević did not play in Wednesday’s win over the Jazz. Julian Reese was outstanding as the starting center in Utah, putting up 27 points and 16 rebounds. He would likely retain that role if Sarr and Vukčević remain out on Friday. However, if one can play, Reese could be made inactive with Anthony Gill remaining in the backup role.

Alex Sarr (toe) has been ruled out against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Sarr will remain out for a second straight game against the tanking Jazz. Tristan Vukcevic (back) should get another start at center if he plays. If not, Anthony Gill would likely get the nod.

Alex Sarr (toe) is out for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
Sarr has not played both games of a back-to-back since late January, so his absence from Sunday’s game is unsurprising. Tristan Vukčević and Anthony Gill are absent from the injury report and should absorb the minutes that would have gone to Sarr.

Alex Sarr finished Saturday’s loss to the Thunder with 14 points (5-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, eight assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers.
After totaling six points on 2-of-21 shooting from the field in his prior two appearances, Sarr desperately needed a night like Saturday. While it ended in defeat, the second-year center/forward getting untracked was a great development for the Wizards and those rostering Sarr. He has not played both games of a back-to-back since late January, which does not bode well for Sarr’s chances of playing on Sunday against the Knicks.

Tristan Vukčević finished Thursday’s loss to the Pistons with 21 points (7-of-8 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, one assist, one block and three three-pointers.
While coming off the bench limits Vukčević’s fantasy upside, he’s scored in double figures in four of his last five appearances. And the third-year center has two 20-point games during this stretch, including Thursday’s loss to the Pistons. Vukčević made all three of his three-point attempts and missed just one shot from the field overall in his 18 minutes. Starter Alex Sarr (two points, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks) played 21 minutes and shot 1-of-12 from the field. If there comes a point when the Wizards shut down Sarr, Vukčević could benefit.

Alex Sarr (toe) is available to play against the Pistons on Thursday.
Sarr will be back in the lineup after missing Washington’s last two games, one with a hamstring injury and one with a toe injury. Anthony Gill started on Tuesday but should return to playing a reserve role with Sarr back.

Alex Sarr (toe) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.
Sarr has missed the Wizards’ last two games with hamstring and toe injuries. While Julian Reese started Monday’s loss to the Warriors, Anthony Gill was the replacement on Tuesday against Detroit. Tristan Vukčević has played limited minutes off the bench, eliminating most of his streaming value.

Alex Sarr (toe) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Pistons.
Sarr sat out Monday’s loss to Golden State with a hamstring injury, but he’ll miss the second leg of Washington’s back-to-back set with a left big toe injury. Tristan Vukčević should start a second straight game, and fantasy managers in need of big man stats can add and stream him.

Alex Sarr (hamstring) is out for Monday’s game against the Warriors.
Sarr will sit out Monday’s game for hamstring injury management reasons, which opens the door for Tristan Vukčević to move into the starting lineup. While fantasy managers won’t expect to see him knock down six three-pointers as he did in Saturday’s loss to the 76ers, the opportunity makes Vukčević a player worth streaming.
  • WAS Forward #00
Tristan Vukčević finished Saturday’s loss to the Celtics with 22 points (7-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and six three-pointers.
Vukčević’s 22 points were a season-high, and he shot 6-of-7 from beyond the arc. The six three-pointers were a career-high for the Wizards’ backup center, who played 20 minutes to starter Alex Sarr’s 22. Sarr finished with four points (1-of-9 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, two steals, one block and one three-pointer. Moving forward, Vukčević will be most valuable on nights when Sarr doesn’t play, and there may be a few streaming opportunities in Week 21, given that Washington plays five games.
