Kristaps Porziņģis (Achilles) has been ruled out against the Celtics on Saturday.
Porziņģis is set to miss a fifth straight game. Mouhamed Gueye should continue to fill out the backup center minutes, with Asa Newell and the recently-signed Christian Koloko also potentially sprinkling in some minutes. However, Onyeka Okongwu will continue to log most of the minutes at center.

Mouhamed Gueye (ankle) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Gueye is dealing with a sprained right ankle. With Kristaps Porziņǵis (Achilles) already out, the Hawks can ill afford to lose another rotation frontcourt player. Asa Newell’s playing time would jump considerably if Gueye can’t play on Thursday.

Kristaps Porziņģis (Achilles) is out for Thursday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Thursday’s game will be the fourth that Porzingis has missed due to left Achilles tendinitis. His absence has resulted in additional minutes for Mouhamed Gueye and Asa Newell, but neither has done enough to merit being rostered in most fantasy leagues.
  • ATL Forward #14
Asa Newell (quad) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Lakers.
Newell left Sunday’s game against the Warriors in the second quarter with a right quad contusion and didn’t return. The 20-year-old forward is available Tuesday against the Lakers, but doesn’t have a fantasy-relevant role and thus isn’t worth rostering in most redraft leagues.
  • ATL Forward #14
Asa Newell (quad) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Lakers.
Newell exited Sunday’s win over the Warriors after playing four minutes during the second quarter. His potential absence would not affect fantasy basketball, even with Kristaps Porziņǵis (Achilles) unavailable. More minutes will be available to fellow reserve Mouhamed Gueye, even if Newell plays.
  • ATL Forward #14
Asa Newell (quad) exited Sunday’s win over the Warriors with 4:16 remaining in the second quarter.
Newell played four minutes before exiting Sunday’s game with a right quad contusion. While the Hawks announced that the rookie was questionable to return, he did not. Atlanta won the game big, so Newell likely would have picked up a few more minutes in the fourth quarter. Hopefully, he won’t have to miss time, but the rookie forward’s status won’t affect redraft leagues.

Kristaps Porziņģis (Achilles) is out for Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
Porziņģis will miss a second consecutive game, freeing up rotation minutes for Mouhamed Gueye and Asa Newell. Neither player is worth streaming in redraft leagues, but they should be rostered in dynasty formats.

Kristaps Porziņģis (Achilles) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
Porziņģis did not play in Friday’s win over the Nuggets, which led to more rotation minutes for Mouhamed Gueye and Asa Newell. Neither will be worth the streaming risk if Porziņģis remains out since starter Onyeka Okongwu is healthy.
  • ATL Forward #18
Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Dyson Daniels, Zaccharie Risacher, Jalen Johnson and Mouhamed Gueye will start Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.
Still without Trae Young, the Hawks won’t have Onyeka Okongwu for Wednesday’s game, either. He’ll be replaced in the lineup by Gueye, who’s starting since Kristaps Porziņģis is still under a minutes restriction. There may also be rotation minutes available to Asa Newell, but he should not be considered as a streaming option.
  • ATL Forward-Center #17
Onyeka Okongwu (illness) has been ruled out against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
With Okongwu sidelined, Kristaps Porziņģis should be in line to start at center. However, Atlanta has been careful with his minutes lately, so there is a chance they let him play his normal role off the bench. That would mean more minutes and an open starting spot that would be filled by either Mouhamed Gueye or Asa Newell.
