Blake Ahearn is expected to be signed for the remainder of the season.
The D-League product was given a 10-day contract by Utah, and the Jazz will keep him around the rest of the year with Earl Watson (knee) sidelined.
  • IND Shooting Guard
Jazz will sign PG Blake Ahern.
Ahern, 27, averaged 23.8 points for the Reno Bighorns in the D-League this season. The sharpshooter will serve as a backup guard with Earl Watson (knee) in serious doubt.

Jazz signed G Blake Ahearn to a 10-day contract on Monday.
This is the time of year that 10-day guys go on shooting sprees, but that is unlikely to happen for a Jazz team playing for the playoffs. Ahearn is to be left on the wire in all leagues.
  • IND Shooting Guard
Jazz signed G Blake Ahearn for the remainder of the season.
In 18 career NBA games Ahearn’s averages are 4.5 points, 1.2 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 11.7 minutes. He’s nowhere near fantasy worthy and only provides guard depth in Utah with Earl Watson (knee) injured.

The Pacers and guard Blake Ahearn have agreed to a partially-guaranteed contract, according to multiple sources.
Ahearn will vie for a roster spot during training camp and preseason, and if he makes the cut he’ll give the Pacers some backcourt depth. In a combined 19 games of NBA experience, Ahearn has shot 27.3 percent from the field.

    Pacers sign G Blake Ahearn.
The 6'2" guard will have to fight for a spot on the roster in training camp. If he’s able to make the team, there isn’t much depth behind Paul George at shooting guard and it would give him some opportunity. Ahearn will certainly have to improve on his 27.3 career field goal percentage in order to earn playing time.
  • IND Shooting Guard
Pacers waived Blake Ahearn, Luke Nevill and Sundiata Gaines on Monday.
Waiving both Gaines and Ahearn comes as a mild surprise since previously they were believed to be duking it out for the backup PG gig, but Indiana is likely going to give that job to Lance Stephenson instead.
  • SAS Small Forward #10
Sam Young, Sundiata Gaines and Blake Ahearn are competing for the two final roster spots in Pacers camp.
Interestingly, Young apparently had a screw “pierced in his arm” while working out for the Raptors before signing with the Pacers. Of the three, Young is the most likely to make the roster, while Gaines and Ahearn duke it out for third-string PG duties.
  • DEN Point Guard
The Wizards worked out Ben Uzoh and Blake Ahearn.
A.J. Price broke his hand and is out 4-to-6 weeks, so the Wizards are extremely thin at point guard with John Wall (knee) also out. Earl Barron could be cut and neither Uzoh nor Ahearn have fantasy value.
  • IND Shooting Guard
Free agent G Blake Ahearn has agreed to a deal with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the D-League.
Ahearn shot 27.3 percent in 19 games during his brief NBA career, most recently for the Jazz in 2011-12. The 30-year-old journeyman is nowhere near the fantasy radar.
