Syracuse forward C.J. Fair will play for the Mavs summer league team.
Fair averaged 16.5 points, and 6.7 rebounds while playing for Syracuse, leading the team in points, and was a Second-Team All-American. However his shooting percentages dipped during his senior year to 42.9 percent from the field, and 27.6 percent on his 3-point attempts. He went undrafted in the 2014 draft, and will now attempt to latch on to an NBA team with a strong summer league showing.

C.J. Fair has agreed to a training camp deal with the Pacers.
Fair is s long shot to make the Pacers final roster and would be buried in their rotation even if he is able to hook on with that team. Needless to say, Fair can be ignored by fantasy owners.

The Pacers have reportedly agreed to a training camp deal with undrafted SF C.J. Fair.
Even if Fair is able to snag a spot on the opening-night roster, he’d be competing for playing time with Paul George, Chase Budinger, Solomon Hill and Glenn Robinson III. In other words, he won’t have any fantasy value in Indiana.

Pacers waive C.J. Fair and Kadeem Jack.
Fair was exciting at times in Summer League, but he had no chance to make the team. He’ll be in the D-League.

C.J. Fair’s father said on Sunday that his son will work out with the Pacers.
Fair was with the Mavericks for Las Vegas Summer League and had a couple highlight reel plays, but he averaged just 4.0 points per game in 13.4 minutes. He’s headed to a team with some weak wing depth, so Fair does have at least an outside shot to make the team.
