Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, VJ Edgecombe, Dylan Harper and Cedric Coward were named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team on Wednesday.
Flagg, Knueppel, and Edgecombe all received 100 first-place votes, with Harper’s 93 votes not far behind. Cedric Coward’s 29 first-place votes were the least of the first-teamers. Meanwhile, Derik Queen, Maxime Raynaud, Jeremiah Fears, Ace Bailey, and Colin Murray-Boyles were named to the All-Rookie Second team.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles tallied 17 points (6-of-10 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks in Friday’s Game 6 win over the Cavaliers.
Murray-Boyles continues to come off the bench, but the rookie played starters’ minutes in Game 6. He logged 40 minutes on Friday, with the final stat line lacking only a three-pointer. Meanwhile, starting center Jakob Poeltl (2/4/1/2/1) logged 22 minutes as he continues to offer limited value in this matchup. Murray-Boyles should take on a similar workload in Game 7, and it’s easy to see why dynasty managers are so excited about his long-term fantasy potential.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles added 15 points (5-of-11 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals in the win over the Cavaliers on Sunday.
Murray-Boyles provided another big lift for the Raptors off the bench on Sunday. On the heels of a 22-point, eight-rebound effort in Game 3, he once again battled on the glass and showcased his motor, leading to his first double-double of the postseason. The rookie forward has scored in double figures in all four games against the Cavs in this series and has become more productive on the glass each game. He should remain a big part of the rotation moving forward.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles logged 22 points (11-of-15 FGs), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in the win over the Cavaliers on Thursday.
Murray-Boyles tallied more points on Thursday than the rest of Toronto’s bench combined. He shot the ball with great efficiency inside the arc, leading to the third-highest scoring mark on the team. The rookie also dominated the offensive glass and showcased his high motor. Given his production in the win, he likely earned a chance to play a big role again in Game 4.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles recorded 17 points (6-of-10 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot in Monday’s Game 2 loss to the Cavaliers.
Effective in 20 minutes in Game 1, Murray-Boyles played 26 minutes in Game 2. And the rookie replaced Jakob Poeltl (two points, four rebounds and one assist) in the lineup to begin the third quarter, with the veteran center not playing at all after halftime. While there is a need for Poeltl’s size, he was ineffective in Toronto’s first two games. We should see a lot more of Murray-Boyles and Sandro Mamukelashvili (12/10/2/1 with one three-pointer) in Thursday’s Game 3 as the Raptors look to avoid falling into a 0-3 hole.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (neck) is available for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Murray-Boyles missed Friday’s loss to the Knicks with a neck strain, but will return against the Nets on Sunday. Sandro Mamukelashvili and Jonathan Mogbo could see fewer minutes with Murray-Boyles back.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (neck) and Trayce Jackson-Davis (illness) are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Both missed Friday’s loss to the Knicks, with Murray-Boyles’ absence having a greater impact on the Raptors’ rotation. Jonathan Mogbo played a few rotation minutes, while Sandro Mamukelashvili’s playing time also increased.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (neck) and Trayce Jackson-Davis (illness) are out for Friday’s matchup with the Knicks.
CMB is dealing with a neck strain, while TJD is still recovering from an illness. Jakob Poeltl is not on Toronto’s injury report, so he should handle the majority of frontcourt minutes, with Sandro Mamukelashvili backing him up.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles accounted for 17 points (7-of-7 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), eight rebounds, one assist, two steals and one blocked shot in Thursday’s win over the Heat.
Murray-Boyles had an excellent night against the Heat, not missing a shot from the field or the foul line. Add in the rebounds and defensive stats, and it’s easy to see why the rookie is a valuable player to those competing in dynasty leagues. Injuries limited Murray-Boyles’ impact as a rookie, but fantasy managers should be excited about his potential if he stays healthy in 2026-27.
  • TOR Center #19
Jakob Poeltl recorded 17 points (8-of-13 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, two steals and one blocked shot in Tuesday’s win over the Heat.
Poeltl has scored in double figures in seven of his last eight appearances, providing more consistent production as he gets further removed from the time missed with a back injury. Add in Sandro Mamukelasvhili (11/5/1 with two three-pointers) and Collin Murray-Boyles (6/8/1/1/2), and the Raptors received positive contributions from their top three options on the interior.
