Cuttino Mobley will have arthroscopic surgery on both ankles today to clean up damage done by frequent sprains the past two seasons.
''We had talked about it all year,’' Rockets trainer Keith Jones said. ''We thought it was probably something we were going to do. But after we did the exit physicals with all the players, Dr. (Walter) Lowe and Dr. (Kevin) Varner looked at the MRI and X-rays and said he would greatly benefit from having the ankles scoped.
