Nolan Traore, Egor Demin, Terance Mann, Ziaire Williams and Day’Ron Sharpe against the Pacers on Wednesday.
With Nic Claxton (hip) sidelined, Sharpe will get the starting nod at center. The other change to the starting unit will be Williams entering in place of Danny Wolf, who will be available off the bench. Sharpe should be in for a productive night.
  • BKN Forward #17
Michael Porter Jr. (knee) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Porter will miss a second straight game due to right knee tendinitis. His absence means Danny Wolf should remain in the starting lineup after logging 26 minutes in Monday’s win over the Nets. Given where the Nets are in the standings, Wolf is worth holding onto for the rest of the season.
  • BKN Forward #2
Danny Wolf amassed 13 points (5-of-7 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, two steals, three blocks and two three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Bulls.
With Michael Porter Jr. (knee) unavailable, Wolf made his eighth start of the season on Monday. And the rookie acquitted himself well, shooting a high percentage and recording a complete stat line. While Egor Dëmin has been the most productive of the Nets’ five first-round picks, Wolf’s had his share of positive moments as well. He took advantage of his 25 minutes against the Bulls, and playing time for the rookie should only increase after the All-Star break.
  • BKN Forward #2
Nolan Traoré, Terance Mann, Danny Wolf, Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton will start Monday’s game against the Bulls.
The Nets won’t have Egor Dëmin (rest) or Michael Porter Jr. (knee) for Monday’s game, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. Mann and Wolf will fill the voids, with the latter offering slightly higher fantasy upside.
  • BKN Forward #17
Michael Porter Jr. (knee) is out for Monday’s game against the Bulls.
Due to right knee tendinitis, Porter will not play on Monday. Danny Wolf has been his replacement in the starting lineup when MPJ was unavailable in the past, and that’s likely to be the case against the Bulls. If so, the rookie would be worth streaming in deep leagues.
  • BKN Forward #2
Danny Wolf amassed 16 points (7-of-11 FGs), seven rebounds, six assists and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Wizards.
Unlike earlier this season, Wolf’s minutes weren’t wholly dependent upon Michael Porter Jr.'s workload. The rookie forward/center essentially served as Noah Clowney’s backup on Saturday, with both players producing solid stat lines. Clowney logged 27 minutes, finishing with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and four three-pointers. Wolf has “silly season standout” potential, especially if the Nets decide to cut Porter’s and Clowney’s minutes, if not sit them outright on occasion.
  • BKN Forward #17
Michael Porter Jr. (personal) is not on the injury report against the Lakers on Tuesday.
MPJ missed the last two games for the Nets, but he will be back to take on Los Angeles. Danny Wolf started in his place, but Wolf will likely head back to the bench with MPJ and Noah Clowney (back) expected back.
  • BKN Forward #2
Danny Wolf had six points (2-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists and one block in Sunday’s loss to the Pistons.
Wolf and the Nets had an evening to forget Sunday in Detroit. The 21-year-old power forward had six points on nine attempts as the Pistons’ blew out the Nets by 53, the franchise’s largest ever margin of victory. Unfortunately, the Nets are no stranger to games like this as they fell to the Knicks by 54 last month. They’ll look to turn the page in Week 16 with three games, the first of which is Tuesday against the Lakers at home.
  • BKN Forward #17
Michael Porter Jr. (personal) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pistons.
Absent from the initial injury report released for Sunday’s game, Porter is now out and will miss a second straight game for personal reasons. Danny Wolf should make another start, which gives the rookie some appeal in deeper leagues.
  • BKN Forward #17
Michael Porter Jr. (personal) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Pistons.
Porter is back with the team after missing Friday’s win over the Jazz for personal reasons. His absence coincided with the return of Egor Dëmin, so Danny Wolf remained in the starting lineup. Look for the rookie to head back to the bench on Sunday, but he’ll have fantasy value during the silly season.
