Domantas Sabonis played 25 minutes in Friday’s exhibition against the Warriors, accumulating 13 points (5-of-9 FGs, 3-of- 5 FTs), 13 rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
Sabonis had led the NBA in rebounds per game each of the last two seasons, most recently averaging 13.7 per night during the 2023-24 campaign. He grabbed 13 boards on Friday, and that category may help Domas account for any decrease in shot attempts. Sabonis took nine shots on Friday, with DeMar DeRozan (14), De’Aaron Fox (12), and Keegan Murray (11) all hitting double figures in that category. However, to avoid too much slippage, he must consistently produce assists and defensive stats. Last season, Sabonis averaged a career-high 8.2 assists per game after accounting for 7.3 in his first full season with the Kings.

Domantas Sabonis played 42 minutes in Friday’s 105-98 loss to New Orleans, accounting for 23 points (9-of-14 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), 14 rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and one blocked shot.
As was the case on many nights, Sabonis recorded a double-double in his final game of the 2023-24 season. He recorded a league-best 77 double-doubles, including 61 straight at one point. Sabonis posted a full stat line on Friday, par for the course for a player who provided top 20 per-game value in 8-cat formats. He finished the season ranked 30th in 9-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster. Sabonis did not make good on his Yahoo ADP (15), but he wasn’t far off, with free-throw percentage (70.4%) and turnovers (3.3 per game) being the issues. He’s unlikely to last past the end of the second round in most drafts next fall.

Domantas Sabonis finished Tuesday’s 118-94 win over the Warriors with 16 points (7-of-14 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 12 rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 37 minutes.
Sabonis and the Kings are one step closer to a second straight playoff berth, as they took advantage of offensive rebounds and Warriors turnovers to keep their season alive. The NBA leader in double-doubles recorded another on Tuesday, finishing three assists shy of a triple-double. Also, Sabonis only committed one turnover in his 37 minutes on the floor. The Kings will visit New Orleans on Friday, with the winner receiving the West’s No. 8-seed. New Orleans won all five regular-season meetings by an average of 19.0 points.

Domantas Sabonis stuffed the stat sheet on Sunday with 18 points (7-of-10 FGs), 11 rebounds and nine assists against the Trail Blazers.
Sabonis posted a full stat line on Sunday and likely would have recorded a triple-double if the game was closer. He entered halftime with 10 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, but he only ended up logging 27 minutes in this game. His current three-game double-double streak isn’t as impressive as his 61-game streak, and it will take him a while to match that again. They’ll host the Warriors in the 9-10 Play-In matchup on Tuesday after they split the season series 2-2. Before winning this game, they lost five of their previous six games, so they’ll need to get back on track to return to the playoffs.
  • SAC Power Forward #10
Domantas Sabonis played 42 minutes in Friday’s 108-107 loss to Phoenix, scoring 25 points (9-of-18 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs) with 12 rebounds, nine assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers.
After going ten games without making a 3-pointer (0-of-3), Sabonis made two on Friday. Friday’s game was the first in which he’s hit multiple triples since January 25, when he made both of his attempts in a win over the Warriors. Overall, Sabonis did his usual handiwork, recording a double-double while being impactful as a facilitator (nine assists). With Friday’s defeat, the Kings need a win over the Blazers and a Lakers’ loss to the Pelicans on Sunday to earn the 8-seed in the West.

Domantas Sabonis played 34 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Pelicans, finishing with 18 points (8-of-12 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
Sacramento’s two playmakers struggled with turnovers on Thursday, with Sabonis (four) and De’Aaron Fox (six) committing ten of the team’s 14 on the night. The good news for Sabonis managers is that he started a new double-double streak, tallying 18 points and 10 rebounds on the night. The Kings host the Suns on Friday in a critical game for both teams. If Sacramento is to have any chance of finishing seventh in the West, they have to beat Phoenix (and Portland on Sunday).
  • SAC Power Forward #10
Domantas Sabonis logged 34 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Thunder, accounting for eight points (2-of-7 FGs, 4-of-7 FTS), 13 rebounds, and five assists.
Having recorded a double-double (or better) in 61 consecutive games, Sabonis struggled mightily against the Thunder as that streak came to a disappointing end. In addition to the poor shooting night, he committed six turnovers and had some foul trouble. Give Oklahoma City, especially Chet Holmgren, credit for Sabonis’ difficult night at the office. He’ll look to begin a new double-double streak on Thursday when the Kings host the Thunder in another critical game for their playoff hopes.
  • SAC Power Forward #10
Domantas Sabonis accounted for 18 points, 20 rebounds, nine assists, a steal and two blocks across 35 minutes in Sunday’s 30-point victory over Brooklyn.
Sabonis went for 15/16/9 in his last matchup with Brooklyn, and he came away with another monster stat line to end the two-game season series. He registered his 60th straight double-double and finished one assist shy of another triple-double. Sabonis has pulled down 20 rebounds in two of his last four, and he leads the Association in that category with 13.7 boards per tilt. He gets a favorable matchup with Oklahoma City on Tuesday, a team that he’s averaged 18.7 points, 13.3 rebounds and 11.3 assists against in three matchups.
  • SAC Power Forward #10
Domantas Sabonis managed 16 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, a steal and a block across 34 minutes in Friday’s 101-100 loss to the Celtics.
Sabonis shot just 6-of-13 from the floor and 4-of-7 from the charity stripe, but fantasy managers were surely pleased with his counting stats. Sabonis extended his record double-double streak to 59 games and, and he pulled down at least 15 rebounds for the 11th time in 23 games since the All-Star break. Sabonis has been masterful this season as a rebounder and facilitator, and he’ll look to keep that productive play going on Sunday in a favorable matchup with the Nets.
  • SAC Power Forward #10
Domantas Sabonis played 36 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Knicks, recording a stat line of 17 points (7-of-13 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), 11 rebounds, seven assists, and one blocked shot.
Sabonis has now recorded a double-double (or better) in 59 consecutive games, so Thursday’s performance was routine. However, turnovers remain an issue in 9-cat formats. Sabonis was responsible for four on Thursday and has reached that number in five straight games. Over the past two weeks, there has been a four-round difference in Sabonis’ fantasy value. A 5th-round player in 8-cat formats, he has been a 9th-round player in 9-cat. Sabonis and the Kings head north for their next game, which will be in Boston on Friday.
