Bucks signed Eddie House to contract, and expect to have him in uniform for tonight’s game.
House, let go by Charlotte earlier this month, will be expected to come off the bench and relieve a little of the scoring burden off Michael Redd and Desmond Mason.
  • MIA Shooting Guard
Eddie House has moved to the top of Denver’s wish list.
House clears waivers today. The Heat, Bucks, Hornets, and Celtics are also interested in his services.
  • MIA Shooting Guard
Eddie House did not practice yesterday and did not travel with the team to Cleveland due to the flu.
No word on when House will catch up with his teammates.
  • MIA Shooting Guard
According to the Palm Beach Post, Eddie House has agreed to a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the New Jersey Nets.
House, who averaged 9.8 PPG with 123 3-pointers last year, was also being heavily pursed by the Heat. “He loves Pat Riley and he loved playing for Riley, but with the Heat roster the way it is, he thought it was a better fit for him going to the Nets,” said House’s agent, Mark Bartlestein.
  • MIA Shooting Guard
The Heat cut Eddie House from their roster on Sunday.
House only had value as a 3-point gunner off the bench and his release isn’t surprising -- he’s still dealing with a knee injury and the Heat have Mike Miller and James Jones to spread the floor when needed. Norris Cole looks like an even better sleeper now that House is off the roster.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #31
Shane Battier (quad) is “making progress” in his return to the court.
Battier is tentatively expected to play on Sunday, but Erik Spoelstra wouldn’t guarantee it. Check back for an update on his progress before game time to make sure he’s active. Eddie House (knee surgery) is also “making progress” in his return.
  • MIA Shooting Guard
Eddie House (knee) is expected to miss several weeks and has no timetable for his return.
Even if you’re hunting threes, drafting House in most formats would be a mistake until his knee checks out.
  • MIA Shooting Guard
Eddie House (left knee surgery) isn’t sure if he will be ready for Miami’s opening game on Dec. 25.
“It could be 2 weeks from now. It could be maybe 3 or 4 weeks,” said House. Miami is way too deep for House to have any fantasy impact this season, even at 100% health.
  • MIA Shooting Guard
Eddie House recently had his knee scoped and he’ll miss Heat training camp.
That will also leave him very iffy to start the season, but he doesn’t have fantasy value either way. Unless you’re in a very deep league and looking for cheap 3-pointers.
  • NYK Point Guard
Unrestricted free agent Mike Bibby is “unlikely” to return to the Knicks, a source tells ESPN New York.
The Knicks don’t need to retain Bibby after bringing in Raymond Felton, Jason Kidd and Pablo Prigioni in the offseason, and Bibby’s best days are well behind him. He’s still working out, though, and he’ll likely find work at the end of a contender’s bench.
