The Jazz signed free agent G Eric Atkins on Sunday, but he is expected to be waived within 24 hours.
Utah simply wanted Atkins’ rights so that they could send him to the D-League. Trey Burke, Raul Neto and Bryce Cotton will occupy all available minutes at PG this season, ensuring that Atkins won’t have any fantasy appeal.
