The Raptors have waived Isaiah Taylor.
Toronto’s roster is now down to 16 players. This shouldn’t impact any fantasy rosters, of course, since Taylor was never expected to be part of the rotation.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Isaiah Taylor and the Raptors have agreed to a partially guaranteed deal.
Toronto was one of four teams that worked out Taylor this offseason, with Boston, Denver and Phoenix being the others. The point guard’s signing fills out the Raptors’ training camp roster, which has 12 guaranteed, five partials (including Taylor) and three non-guaranteed contracts. Taylor averaged 6.6 points and 3.1 assists per game for the Hawks during the 2017-18 season. He was waived by Cleveland last October while sidelined due to a stress fracture in his leg.

Isaiah Taylor will work out for the Raptors this week in Toronto.
Taylor, who has been a free agent since being waived by the Cavaliers last October, has also worked out for the Celtics, Nuggets and Suns over the last month. Toronto currently has one open training camp roster spot, as teams are allowed to bring up to 20 players to camp. Taylor, who was dealing with a stress fracture in his leg when he was waived by Cleveland, averaged 6.6 points and 3.1 assists in 17.4 minutes per game as a member of the Hawks during the 2017-18 season.

Isaiah Taylor will work out for the Nuggets this week in Denver.
Taylor missed the entire 2018-19 season due to a stress fracture in his left leg suffered last October. In 2017-18, he averaged 6.6 points and 3.1 assists for the Hawks in 17.4 minutes per game.

The Cavaliers waived G Isaiah Taylor.
Taylor was fighting for the final roster spot until he was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left leg on Friday. He’s supposed to be out for about a month and should find himself another NBA gig soon. He’s not a fantasy option, however.

Isaiah Taylor could miss a month after a CT scan revealed a stress fracture in his left leg
Taylor said the injury likely occurred at some point during the summer and he that he was playing at “probably 50 or 60 percent” during training camp. There is currently no timetable for his return, but Taylor told Cleveland.com on Friday morning that a month is most likely. Taylor was fighting to earn the 15th and final spot on the Cavs opening night roster, but this injury could force Cleveland to go in another direction.

Isaiah Taylor was experiencing lower left leg pain and additional imaging on Thursday revealed a stress fracture.
The team will monitor him over the next several days and go from there. This is a tough blow for a guy who would’ve likely made the team. Taylor’s roster spot could be in jeopardy with this news after a one-year deal from back in August.

Isaiah Taylor has been invited to the Rockets’ training camp.
The Rockets are in need of a third-string PG behind Patrick Beverley and Pablo Prigioni, though Taylor will likely have to outplay Gary Payton II to make the 15-man roster. The undrafted PG out of Texas averaged 15.0 points and 5.0 assists during his junior season.

Texas PG Isaiah Taylor has agreed to a partially-guaranteed contract with the Rockets.
Houston also inked undrafted PG Gary Payton II to a deal soon after the draft ended, as they’re eager to add youthful guards to their existing group of Patrick Beverley and Jason Terry. Taylor has elite quickness but his NBA outlook is clouded by a shaky jumper (42.1 percent as a junior), limited 3-point range (30.6 percent) and a lack of length (6'4" wingspan).

The Rockets waived G Isaiah Taylor on Sunday.
He was just a camp invite without any realistic prospects of making the opening night roster. Move along.
