Marcus Smart (finger) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Kings.
Smart will not be available for Wednesday’s game, freeing up additional rotation minutes off the bench for Jaylen Martin. Some of the minutes that would have gone to Smart may be absorbed by Julian Champagne, who is already in the starting lineup. There isn’t too much to gain from streaming Martin.
  • WAS Point Guard #36
Marcus Smart (illness) is available to play against the Nets on Saturday.
Smart will be back after missing Washington’s last two games. Jaylen Martin was able to enter the Wizards’ rotation with Smart sidelined, but he will likely lose out on minutes with Smart healthy and available. Martin wasn’t productive during his time in the rotation.
  • WAS Point Guard #36
Marcus Smart (illness) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Nets.
Smart has missed Washington’s last two games, resulting in Jaylen Martin moving into the rotation. Martin has not been productive enough to merit being streamed in most leagues, so Smart’s return would not significantly impact fantasy basketball.
  • WAS Small Forward #18
Kyshawn George (knee) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.
George is dealing with a right knee contusion, casting some doubt on his status for Wednesday’s game. With Corey Kispert (thumb) done for the season, Colby Jones and Jaylen Martin played additional rotation minutes in Monday’s loss to the Trail Blazers. That will remain the case on Wednesday, regardless of George’s status. If Kyshawn sits, one of those two could move into the starting lineup.
  • WAS Small Forward #16
The Wizards have signed Jaylen Martin to a two-way contract, per HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto.
Beginning this season on a two-way deal, Martin appeared in three games for the Nets in November. He suffered a bone bruise in his knee while playing for the team’s G League affiliate toward the end of that month. The two-way deal allows Martin to prove himself in the NBA, but he will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • BKN Small Forward #16
Jaylen Martin (right knee bone contusion) will be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks.
Martin injured his knee on November 24 with the Nets’ G League affiliate. His absence will not impact the Nets’ rotation or fantasy basketball, but he’ll miss out on the opportunity to contribute, as Brooklyn has been decimated by injuries recently.
  • BKN Small Forward #16
Jaylen Martin (illness) is available for Monday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Martin is available after the Nets initially listed him as questionable. He’s unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball, especially on a night when all 30 teams are playing.
  • BKN Small Forward #16
Jaylen Martin has signed a two-way contract with the Nets, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Martin has been playing with the Westchester Knicks this season, so he won’t have to move far to suit up for his new organization. However, he will continue to spend more time in the G-League than in the NBA, so this won’t impact fantasy basketball.
