Sasser joins brother Jason in Mavs camp. Neither is expected to make the team.

Sasser is battling with Shammond Williams and Keith Bogans for the final spot. But the team is high on Bogans, and recent comments by coach Doc Rivers that rookie Reece Gaines might not even play point guard this season might indicate that Williams will be the backup at point. Cutting Sasser would cost the Magic $1.37 million.

Sasser was scoreless in three minutes at New Jersey on Sunday. Consider him day-to-day.
