Jeryl Sasser, the 22nd overall pick in the 2000 draft, may wind up being the odd man out in Orlando.
Sasser is battling with Shammond Williams and Keith Bogans for the final spot. But the team is high on Bogans, and recent comments by coach Doc Rivers that rookie Reece Gaines might not even play point guard this season might indicate that Williams will be the backup at point. Cutting Sasser would cost the Magic $1.37 million.
