Julian Phillips (wrist) is available for Sunday’s game against the Clippers.
Phillips is good to go for his Timberwolves’ debut. However, he offered little fantasy value in Chicago, and that’s unlikely to change in Minnesota, at least in the short term.
  • MIN Forward #4
Julian Phillips (wrist) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Clippers.
Phillips suffered a sprained right wrist before he was traded from Chicago to Minnesota. Due to the injury, his Timberwolves debut may be delayed a bit longer. Phillips did not play consistent rotation minutes in Chicago, and it’s unknown how he fits into Minnesota’s rotation. Leave him on the waiver wire.
  • MIN Forward #15
Julian Phillips has been traded to the Timberwolves.
Phillips entered the league as a defensive prospect, but that never led to consistent minutes in Chicago. He’ll likely be in a similar situation in Minnesota as a depth piece, which won’t lead to much production in the box score. This isn’t a situation where Phillips will benefit from a change of scenery.
  • MIN Guard #11
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Ayo Dosunmu and Julian Phillips have been traded to the Timberwolves in exchange for Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller and four second-round picks.
Dosunmu spent the first 4.5 seasons of his career in his hometown of Chicago after playing three seasons at Illinois, so this will be quite the fresh start for him. Minnesota has lacked a reliable point guard this season, and they just traded Mike Conley this week. Dosunmu may not start, but he should be one of the primary options off the bench and spend a ton of time on the floor as a lead ball handler. With Dillingham included in the deal, Bones Hyland and Jaylen Clark will be the other point guards in Minnesota.
  • CHI Forward #15
Julian Phillips (wrist) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Raptors.
Phillips was not available for Tuesday’s loss to the Bucks after logging 23 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Heat. His availability won’t affect fantasy basketball, but there may be rotation minutes available if Phillips can play.
  • CHI Forward #15
Julian Phillips (wrist) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Bucks.
Phillips is still dealing with a wrist sprain that cost him multiple games in January. While the 22-year-old forward has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Bucks, his absence won’t have much of an impact on the Bulls’ bench rotation, let alone fantasy basketball.
  • CHI Forward #15
Julian Phillips (wrist) is questionable to play against the Bucks on Tuesday.
Phillips is dealing with a wrist sprain, which is something he missed a pair of games with in mid-January. However, his status for this game won’t have much of an impact on the Bulls’ rotation.
  • CHI Guard-Forward #13
Kevin Huerter (back) is questionable to play against the Bucks on Tuesday.
Huerter missed Sunday’s game, but he could be back against Milwaukee. Yuki Kawamura, Dalen Terry and Julian Phillips played significant roles in the blowout loss but will lose out on minutes if Huerter and Jalen Smith (calf) return. However, none of the three are productive enough to be worth streaming regardless.
  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vučević (rest) is out for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Vučević joins the long list of Bulls rotation players who won’t play on Saturday. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Patrick Williams and Julian Phillips being potential replacements. There should also be rotation minutes available to Lachlan Olbrich, but none of these players are worth the streaming risk.
  • CHI Forward #15
Julian Phillips (wrist) is available to play against the Nets on Friday.
Phillips will be back after missing Chicago’s last two games with a wrist injury. However, his role this season has been a minimal one, so his return won’t alter the Bulls’ rotation.
