    Warriors waive forward Julian Washburn.
The Warriors likely didn’t have any intention to keep Washburn on their roster. After some time with the Grizzlies last season, Washburn will likely wind up on a camp roster.

Julian Washburn has been traded to the Warriors as part of the Andre Iguodala deal with Memphis.
Washburn was on a two-way deal with the Grizzlies and played in his first NBA season at the age of 27. The Warriors plan to waive Washburn and reports suggest that he will return to the Memphis Summer League team.
  • Small Forward #4
Julian Washburn scored five points with one rebound, four assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in a start against the Blazers on Wednesday.
It’s his third NBA start after averaging just 4.5 points, 5.0 boards, 1.0 dimes and 0.5 treys in his previous two. Even if he continues to start, Washburn has very little fantasy value.
  • Small Forward #4
Julian Washburn was a DNP-CD on Saturday.
He played a whopping 37 minutes in a start on Thursday, but it was out of necessity. Washburn is likely headed to the G League.
  • Small Forward #4
Julian Washburn missed all five of his shot attempts on Thursday, finishing with two points, six rebounds and a pair of steals in 37 minutes.
The huge playing time came by default tonight. Kyle Anderson (shoulder) was only available in case of emergency and the Grizzlies had eight healthy players in uniform. Washburn is playing on a two-way contract and could have a substantial role until he hits the 45-day limit, but even as a starter he’s done nothing to merit fantasy owners’ attention. If you’re still considering him, just know that he’s a combined 3-of-19 from the field (15.8%) in six NBA games.

Julian Washburn started for the short-handed Grizzlies on Tuesday and hit 3-of-10 shots and his first 3-pointer for a career-high seven points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal in 31 minutes of a win over the Timberwolves.
Washburn’s played at least 16 minutes in three straight games and this was his coming-out party. Had he shot it better, his line would have been a lot more exciting, but with the Grizzlies clearly ready to make a big trade and blow up the team, Washburn is worth keeping an eye on going forward in deep leagues. Memphis was without Garrett Temple, Kyle Anderson, Dillon Brooks, Omri Casspi, JaMychal Green, Chandler Parsons, Marc Gasol and Joakim Noah tonight. And if that continues to be the case going forward, taking fliers on young Grizzlies may pay dividends, especially in DFS.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Grizzlies are planning to sign Julian Washburn to a two-way contract.
Washburn has played well in the G League this season, earning him an NBA audition. However, it’s extremely unlikely he makes his way on to the fantasy radar.

The Spurs have waived Julian Washburn and Amida Brimah.
San Antonio just signed both Washburn and Brimah on Wednesday but the two players were never expected to make the big club. Most likely, both will play for the Spurs G-League affiliate.

Julian Washburn and Amida Brimah have signed training camp contracts with the Spurs.
Neither of these guys are expected to make the team.

The Spurs signed F Julian Washburn on Thursday.
Washburn plays the same position as Kawhi Leonard, so he’s not going to have any fantasy value fighting for reserve minutes with Kyle Anderson.
